A Relationship-Driven Approach
As Standard Orchid continues to grow and refine its focus, we are scaling back from general lab services and concentrating on a smaller number of collaborative projects each year.
Our space is limited, and we want to use it intentionally — working with breeders who value thoughtful, well-planned crosses, particularly species and species-forward projects.
Rather than operating as a high-volume flasking service, we’re building a small network of ongoing relationships centered around meaningful breeding work and long-term outcomes.
Collaborations may take different forms depending on the project and the partnership. These may include:
Traditional per-flask arrangements
Plant or flask swaps
Shared production agreements
Structured grow-out collaborations
Other mutually beneficial approaches
Each project is discussed individually. Our goal is to create arrangements that make sense for both parties and support the genetics involved over time.
We care deeply about quality, transparency, and stewarding valuable material responsibly.
