We have been doing an enormous amount of work, but its been great to see things come together.


We’re official!

We’ve moved out of our small labs at home, and consolidated to a commercial space in the middle of Georgetown (a small business / industrial district 2 miles south of downtown Seattle).

While Robert and I say goodbye to the comforts of working from home, its nice to have all of the supplies, materials and tools (not to mention the plants) located in a single place, with everything organized for the purpose of this work. Its also really nice to have all this stuff out of our houses.

While things are still a bit messy, and we have still plenty of work to do on the space, we believe that we are in a really good place to expand and keep up with (and have space for) all of the work you all have given us.

We’ve put eyes on every single flask in the lab (and there are a lot), and will be sending germination reports shortly.

An Update on Cloning:

We have successfully created clones in our lab of a Dendrobium. We are refining protocols for both sterilization and proliferation - and anticipate we will be able to offer this as a service later this year.

We are actively working on replicating our success with other genera (Miltoniopsis). (We will update this blog with a picture sometime soon).
